My business trips.........

Just saw "Up in the air" on plane while on business trip to Indonesia. That makes some noise to me.

My job requires me to fly sometimes within Asia, and maybe few times to Europe and USA within a year to visit clients and my team members. Usually my business trip is a very intensive, on top of regular business, I also need to count on meeting preparations, travel details, travel reports and follow up with bunch of actions right after........ So mentally & physically I'm in a tense & stress mode before/ during the entire trip and can never sleep well. But of course the worst is to be away from the friends, family and my cat. I'm not sure about other people, but I don't feel much excited these days about sleeping in a luxurious room or having a fancy meal during travel as most often times I'm alone on my own. That's why I always feel sorry for those travellers who is having nice lunch or dinner in a 5 star hotel by themselves, I can smell the strong loneliness from there. For now I think I can still handle this kind of travel life for another 5 years or so, but not sure when I'll get burned out there.

Btw, George Clooney looks so good with his gray hair!!!
